Will Slingshot work for any type of business?
Slingshot works for any business, be it business-to-consumer or business-to-business. You can use it as an online shop, with or
without credit card clearance. Use it to take orders and bill your customers
automatically or to introduce a more effective means of marketing.
Can I try before I buy?
Yes, you don't have to pay a penny until your site is complete.
How do I build my web site?
Use the wizard to guide you through
the 8 easy steps involved in building a web site.
Will my site look different to other sites?
Using our large range of layouts, styles, colour schemes and images will ensure your site looks unique.
How secure is my site?
We have secure servers and use encryption techniques
that allow for safe transactions and transmission of data.
However in the
unlikely event that your site is accessed and altered by an unauthorised person
your administrator will receive an e-mail detailing the alterations. However, we
have not been informed or recorded any breach of security using our site.
How many web pages can I have?
There is no limit to the number of pages or products.
What type of web pages can I have?
By using the wizard you can define which pages
you require and which pages link to other pages.
How quickly will my web site be processed?
Once we have confirmation that your credit/debit
card has been authorised and you have input the desired details onto your site,
your domain is ready to be visited. Please understand that search engine and
domain registration may take a day or two.
I have over 1000 products to put onto my web
site, will this be a problem?
The system can handle many thousands of products.
Can I delete or alter any of my details,
products or services and at any time?
Yes you can, you will need to access your secure
area and supply your user name and password. After authentication you will then be
allowed to make as many modifications as you wish.
Do Traderwebs pass on any of my personal details
to other parties?
No, we never release any of our customers
details to other parties. Your information is always kept private and
confidential.
Do you have access to my financial information?
We never see your bank details, however we are
told whether your credit/debit card details have been accepted and authorised.
How safe is it for my customers or me to shop
on-line?
Our business uses
encryption
techniques that facilitate secure on-line shopping. We have not been informed or
recorded any breach of security using our site. The information you or your customers
enter is passed directly to the bank's secure server and is not seen by other parties or us.
What credit/debit cards do you accept?
We accept the following
cards: Visa, MasterCard,
Switch, Delta, Solo and JCB.
Is there any other way to make payment other
than though the internet?
No. We
endeavour to keep costs to a minimum and pass
the saving onto our clients. We can only do this if we automate payment
methods and this can only be accomplished through the internet. However, our
clients can accept any other form of payment from their customers.
Are your web servers based in England?
Yes they are. We understand the delays in
transmissions that can occur when using cheaper servers in other countries and
we do not subject our clients or their customers to those delays.
